Curses - and specifically the curse of the M25! My flight to Singapore was over an hour late taking off. We left the gate not too far off the scheduled time and then we just seemed to sit on the tarmac not going anywhere - precisely the same feeling as being stuck in a traffic jam on the M25.
Unfortunately we didn't make the time up in the air, so an hour delay leaving translated into an hour delay arriving. The flight seemed to go by quite quickly and my selection of the Indian vegetarian special meal was a winner. I was tucking in whilst everybody else around me still had some time to wait until the normal service got to them. The food was good aswell especially breakfast.
I 'entered' Singapore to get the passport stamp and spent all of 5 minutes landside before clearing immigration and getting back airside.
The Airbus A380 is parked at a gate waiting for it's evening trip to Sydney - it really is pretty ugly. This didn't stop me taking a few snaps along with hordes of other people.
Time for a shower and a quick bite to eat before I fly on to Bali.
