It's become almost an annual event -- my crazy 'mileage run' to the Far East. This time I'm stopping in Singapore and not indulging in any random side trips.
I'm flying on SQ317, which is the daytime flight to SIN. This lands at 7.30am in Singapore, so I've got the prospect of a very long day ahead of me. I was up at 5am (GMT) this morning and God know's when the next time I'm likely to get some decent sleep!
I'm currently in the VS Clubhouse, but I've foregone my normal glass of Champagne. The reason for this is that I intend having a few Tiger Beers during the flight and I want to avoid (if possible) any mid-air hangover action. Who says alcohol and flying don't mix (well maybe not a good idea if you're the pilot)?
