Today marked the first day of 2010 that I've needed to put sunblock on!
I had a breakfast taco first thing and then drove out to Barton Springs. There is an open air pool there which is fed by aquifers/springs. The temperature stays constant all year round, and in the bright morning sunshine it did look appealing. Unfortunately I haven't brought any swimming gear!
Instead I went for a bit of a walk around the Lady Bird Lake to the south of downtown Austin.
My 'walk' turned into a an hour or so 'hike' -- ideal to work up an appetite for some more tasty Tex-Mex food!
